The GHS 2010 Prom and 5th Annual After Prom Party will be held on May 14-15, 2010.  The prom will be held at the Baltimore Railroad Museum this year.  The after prom party will be held at the ESPN Zone. Because of the distance and location, to keep them safe, the PTSA will provide buses to bring the students home to  Glenelg at the end of the After Prom Party   

 In order for us to throw a party of this magnitude, we need your help and support.  You can offer your support in 4 ways.  First, support our fundraisers; we will be hosting several throughout the year. Second, make a donation.  It will cost approximately $70 per person to host the after prom party. Any amount you can contribute will not only be appreciated, but will go a long way in helping to cover our cost.  Third, volunteer to help.  We need parents to help escort the kids from the Aquarium to the ESPN Zone and to help monitor the kids during the evening. Freshman and sophomore parents, this is a great way to get a sneak peak at what will be offered to your child when they become upper classman.  Forth, make the after prom party the only party of choice on prom night.  By saying NO to house, field or hotel parties, you will help make prom night safe for our children. Remember, if you don’t host them, they won’t happen.
